Cancellation Policy

30-day returns for eligible products

You may request a return of an eligible product within 30 calendar days after delivery. This applies to both defective and non-defective products, subject to the product exclusions below. Eligible change-of-mind returns must be new, unused, unopened, in their original packaging with all labels and accessories, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Products must have been stored and handled according to the manufacturer's instructions.

How to request a return

Email info@vareum.com with your order number, product details and reason for return. Obtain written return authorization (RMA) before sending anything back. For an approved eligible return, we provide a free prepaid return label to download/print, the authorized return address and shipping instructions. Returns are made by mail or courier using those instructions. Do not send products to an office address or to a supplier without authorization.

There is no restocking fee for approved eligible returns. Original outbound shipping, customs duties and other delivery charges already incurred are normally non-refundable for change-of-mind returns, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Exceptions: products not eligible for change-of-mind returns

• Custom-made, personalized, made-to-order or special-order products sourced specifically for your order.
• Perishable or short-shelf-life products, including biological materials, reagents and research consumables where stability or quality cannot be verified after delivery.
• Refrigerated, frozen, cold-chain or other temperature-controlled products.
• Hazardous materials, flammable liquids and gases.
• Opened, used, contaminated or unsealed sterile products, or products damaged or improperly stored after delivery.
• Gift cards and products expressly identified as final sale before purchase.

These exclusions concern change-of-mind returns. They do not remove your rights if goods arrive defective, damaged or incorrect, or any mandatory rights under applicable law. If you are unsure whether a product is eligible, contact us before ordering.

Defective, damaged or incorrect products

Inspect your order on arrival and contact info@vareum.com as soon as possible if there is a problem. Include the order number, product/SKU, lot or batch number where relevant, photographs and any relevant delivery or storage information. We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate replacement, repair or refund. Contact us before returning hazardous or temperature-controlled goods so that safe shipping can be arranged. The change-of-mind exclusions and 30-day window do not limit applicable statutory or warranty rights.

Refunds and exchanges

We will notify you after receiving and inspecting the returned product whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at info@vareum.com.

For an exchange of an eligible product, request authorization within the same 30-day window. We can coordinate an approved replacement or a return followed by a separate purchase. The same condition requirements and exclusions apply.

Cancellations before dispatch

Contact us as soon as possible to request cancellation or a change. We will confirm whether processing, supplier sourcing or shipment can still be stopped. Special-order, custom-made and already processed orders may not be cancellable; any applicable non-recoverable costs will be explained before you confirm the cancellation. After dispatch, the return policy above applies.

Consumer rights and existing orders

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer cancellation, refund, defect or warranty rights, including any applicable European Union 14-day withdrawal right or rights under Israeli law. Statutory exceptions may apply to certain products. Existing orders retain the rights and policy applicable when purchased; this update does not reduce those rights.
