Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Development Consultant focused exclusively on client acquisition. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting new customers into active clients.

This engagement begins with a 1-month pilot contract, designed as a focused period to evaluate performance and mutual fit — with strong potential to extend into a longer-term contract.

Compensation includes a monthly base salary + commission on closed business, offering both stability and strong performance upside.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and acquire new clients across biotech, pharma, research organizations, universities, and life-science companies

• Execute outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, calls, and industry networking

• Own the full sales cycle from first contact through signed agreement

• Maintain a structured and up-to-date sales pipeline

• Consistently meet or exceed client acquisition targets

• Collaborate with leadership to refine acquisition strategy and messaging

• Provide ongoing market feedback based on prospect conversations

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition

• Background in life sciences / biotech / pharma / research services (preferred)

• Strong hunter mindset with a track record of closing deals

• Comfortable working independently in an early-stage startup environment

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and execution-driven

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Compensation

• Monthly base pay + performance-based commission (%)

• 1-month pilot contract with strong potential for extension
