Cobalt chelates recognize two exposed vicinal histidine tags - this resin is used in many purifications because this cation provides very good selectivity. COBALT RAPID RUN™ provides the advantages of the Cobalt cation with the high flow rates of the Rapid Run™ beads. It is specially designed for large scale His-tagged protein purifications.
