Scientific background
A thick filter paper with high loading capacity. Combines medium retention with medium-fast to fast filtration speed. Used in qualitative analytical techniques to determine and identify materials. Prepleated qualitative filters are also available for improved flow rate and increased loading capacity. Grade 598 has 8-10 µm particle retention and is also available prepleated as Grade 598 ½.
