Among them, integrin α6β1 is the main cell adhesion receptor of Laminin and is highly expressed in embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Therefore, Laminin, as the main component of the basement membrane, can be used as a clear substrate for culturing ESCs and iPSCs without feeder layers.
